+T-Hunters3
OK, it has been a while, but I downloaded some of these free street maps many months ago but now, from what I can gather from several search efforts, they are apparently now only available thru torrents? No where else can I download these? Can I get verification? I am currently looking for the maps of Mississippi, Alabama, and possibly Texas and Florida. Any help? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
snowfleurys
I recent post by Ibycus mentioned his unlimited service host provider terminated access because of hight usage. The 'link' on gpsfiledepot seems to be working: http://www.gpsfiledepot.com/maps/view/19/ The Ibycus mapset is streets and hydro from March,2008 Census files. gpsfiledepot has state mapsets available using Dec,2008 Census data and include contour lines and geographic POI's. +T-Hunters3
I am currently downloading the usa file from gpsfiledepot. The file is huge and I really only need a few states. Can you give me a quick link to the individual state map sets? I recent post by Ibycus mentioned his unlimited service host provider terminated access because of hight usage. -Oz-
GPSFileDepot hosts the maps which is why you can still get them there and the links didn't die. For a few states you either have to download the entire ibycus map or download an individual state's topo map which includes the same or more up-to-date roads. See coggins message above.
