The ability to get much further down the trail in the same amount of time is an added benefit as well. Quote Link to comment

I've found more than 600 caches and more than half of that I found by bicycle. he longest one-day caching trip was 167 km. One time I got FTF in cache placed about 100 km from my home I love cycle-caching Quote Link to comment

I was riding roads like this: on old road bike with tires like this: (really not too fast) Most of my finds was with bicycle, 80-100km day trip, sometimes by train with bicycle and return by bicycle home.
