+rutson
As per the title really... After the Mega, we're heading SE to the IoW (which is currently conspicuously white on my counties map ). Are there any "wow" caches which we should be looking for? Cheers! Quote Link to comment
+Team-Harvey
Theres some fantastic caches over there... The Ledge is a long walk - but well worth it for it's location... also the Vectis series a a fantastic challenge. The beautiful beaches are worth doing as well. I really enjoyed the pepperpot as well.. we did it at sunset and had some amazing views. Oooooooh theres lots! You will have fun! Quote Link to comment
+rutson
Thanks :-) It won't surprise the regulars to know there's a "Meet + Drink = Smiley" event in the queue too ;-) Quote Link to comment

The Grockles
We did the Vectis series in one day back in 2003... and Bonchurch Landslip as well for good measure (think that one is archived now). We went back in 2004 and cleared up the rest. There were only 14 caches on the island at that time. The Ledge, as previously mentioned was worth the walk and Lungbuster made an impression, too. +drsolly
Chimney Steps, GC1597F It's a steep, slippery vertigeous set of steps in a natural "chimney" in the cliff face. See my log. We're going to IOW on June 29 for a few days. Quote Link to comment
