+SVC
I haven't been receiving any email notifications about when my caches have been found for the past week (and yes many have been found since they stopped arriving in my email). I checked my profile and the box is checked to receive emails and the weekly list (which also has stopped). Can someone point me in the right direction as to how to remedy this situation? Thanks in advance, Vince (SVC) 4. Post the following information for the issue: Your Operating System: Windows XP, Your Browser with Version number: , Firefox (most recent) Link to comment
Keystone
Who's your ISP and E-mail provider? Often, a sudden cutoff or slowdown of mail from the web site is due to blocking or throttling by an e-mail provider. Also, have you checked your spam filter? Link to comment
savant9
As Keystone mentioned, certain companies will suddenly block mail from particular sites. If they see a large volume of mail from a single source they often assume its spamming and just block the site. This has happened to me with hotmail....and a different forum. Link to comment
+SVC
I do have hotmail so that might be the reason. I'll check the spam filter and if anything else, I'll sign up for a gmail account. Link to comment
+SVC
I switched my email to gmail and it's working again. Thanks Keystone and others for the help. Have a nice weekend. Link to comment
