NORTH BEND, Wash. - A male hiker was killed today after falling from Rattlesnake Ledge. The popular hiking area is located in Iron Horse State Park. The man fell at roughly 12:15 p.m. and dropped between 100 and 200 feet. Search and rescue crews today were working to recover the body. They say the man was in his 20s. The man was apparently hiking with a friend when he slipped. Everyone else in the hiking party was OK. Investigators are trying to determine exactly what happened, but they say the area is very steep. Quote Link to comment
