Trying to use my cachemate on our new notebook, and transferring files to our Palm. Downloaded cachemate but Palm does not recognize it. Is there something i need to do to use this with Vista?

When you say the palm does not recognize it, could you elaborate on what you mean? I will mention that the Palm Hot Sync manager will not work on 64 bit Vista. Could that be your problem? If so you will need to transfer files via the SD card or bluetooth if your palm and notebook support that.

If its 64 bit Vista, you need to sync over bluetooth.

I went through this a month ago. You need to use a Bluetooth setup.

I was getting a bit frustrated until I found this page.

If you are not on a 64bit machine than the problem is you don't have the latest Palm desktop go here

Install that and it works fine.
