Just got back into caching after a long hiatus. Bought a Garmin 770t. As some of you garmin users know the manual is online. Can someone help me with some problems I'm having. How do i delete pocket queries off the oregon. I go to setup, then geocaching live, after i go to geocache lists then what? i hilite the file, then hit remove geocaches and nothing happens...still there. what am i doing wrong?

once upon a time i used jsak but chromebook does not support it. how do i get my caches from the geocache site onto my garmin??

So does this mean i cant download onto my gps? Im old tech and dont want to use my phone which by the way is a Samsung galaxys7 active.

Been away from caching for several yrs. Here is my problem. I used to use gsak to download my caches onto my Garmin 60Cx. I no longer have a PC we now have a chromebook. Seems chromebook doesnt support gsak. what can i use.

I have a 60Cx I want to download the Entire US maps in City Nav. My micro SD card is only 128MB I need 906.4MB. Do they make micro cards that large?? I know zip about sd cards.

I know this has been on the forum in the past but ive been away from caching awhile. My wife and I have separate accts, mine is premium, hers basic. We cache together and id like to merge our finds into the premium acct. Is this possible? Neither one of care about stats, and numbers so it really doesn't matter who has how many, Any advice/pointers are appreciated.

Found a power trail that runs from Hanna City, Ill., to Farmington, Ill. It is called the Bison Trail and FuzzyB has placed numerous caches on this trail. Does anyone know anything about this bike trail? Looking for a web site that would give me any info. Caches are all titled, Along the Bison Trail followed by the number, 1-112. First cache is GC3C6R4.

Recently I saw two logs on one of our caches where two very experienced cachers with thousands of finds took it upon themselves to place a new container and log because they could not find the original cache. Now the cache in question has 33 finds and only 2 DNF's. My question is this, do you think this is ethical? Should'nt someone with these numbers under their belt just swallow their pride and take the DNF? What would stop the rest from of us from just placing a new container instead of taking the time to search and either come up empty, find the container and enjoy the chance to be out caching. I don't want to ruffle any feathers but just want to put this out there for some feedback.

How do i update my stat page? I see cachers with nice looking stat pages and i want one too. I have tried some of the ones that everyone has and jhust can't seem to get the hang of it any help would be grerat!!

Does anyone know of a decent idiot proof stat generator? I've tried several but I can't seem to get the hang of using them. Either I'm not following the directions right or something, but I'm looking for a generator that will update my finds wityh all of the bells and whistles.

I am looking to buy a new gps, and the Delorme PN-60 and 60w have gotten my attention. Does anyone have any advice? I currently have a 60cx and we used to use a palm for our gpx files. The palm has died and we want a unit that is paperless and I want access to maps. The Delorme website has a pn-60 for 299 and the 60w for 349. I am really impressed by the map subscription service that delorme offers 29.95 a yr for all the maps you could ever need sounds tempting. Any Delorme users out there??

I have a problem I want to buy a new unit, and I'm confused. I have a Garmin 60cx, a great unit with the exception of it not being paperless. I want to get a new gps but with everything that is out there I just don't know which one I want. I need to keep the price down to at least $500, but I don't want to short change myself. This is what I want from a new unit...paperless, topo maps, city NT, and maybe touch screen. I'm not a newbie, been caching since '05, but with all the units out there I just need to get some input from other cachers.

Thanks thats what I keep hearing. For some reason I can't find any of the geocaching apps on my market app. They were there one day and gone the next. I did have C:Geo on my HTC Desire Inspire 4G, but for some reason it force closed and then I could never get it back. But now can't find it or GeoBeagle or any of the caching apps....HELP!!

Does anyone know how to delete the my stats software. I'm not real happy with the way my stats are kept and want to find something else thats maybe easier to use. I'm not able to update my stats on my profile page the way I want to and would like to get rid of it.

We use a Palm Tungsten for paperless caching. Recently we purchased a acer laptop with microsoft vista installed. I have attempted numerous x's to install my Palm software but it seems to not recognize the Palm quick install that I need to transfer my pocket queries from GSAK into the palm device. I have tried to reinstall it several x's but i get the same results. Does anyone have an answer??

Is there a way to log finds on the Google Earth App for PC?

would like to purchasea mini net book for paperless caching. Is it possible to use a computer of this type for my purposes? How can i access the internet anywhere? What would i need to do this?
