geotowey
Hello All For the last couple of days I have been unable to get the interactive map to behave as it did 1 week ago. I have tried with IE7 and FF3. I have restarted my machine login at geocaching.com go to http://www.geocaching.com/map/default.aspx Issue 1: in the "Zoom to Address" box type in Schramm Park, Nebraska and hit "Go" the issue: nothing seems to happen the page doesn't change, refresh, or anything- browser doesn't spin, etc Issue 2: click the "-" on the zoom out google controls Click and drag the map Issue: the map swings erratically, going to far for a very small move Issue 3: click the "+" on the zoom out google controls zoom into just about anywhere Issue: geocache spots are not showing up It seems once you leave the Seattle area(the initial start point) the map stops functioning as it did a week ago. Any Ideas?? Edited in: XP T1 line FF3 and IE7 all open enough to accept cookies did clear cache. Edited May 19, 2009 by geotowey Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
Works fine for me in both IE8 and FF3. Tried all your issues. I am using Vista Ultimate. What OS are you using? Broadband or Dialup? Did you add or change anything on your PC in the last week? Tried clearing cookies and cache settings?? Quote Link to comment
+ngrrfan
When I first started using the map, I too thought it might have a problem BUT then I watched it load over a thousand caches. That's what was taking the time and making it slow. Quote Link to comment

I tested on another co-woker's machine as well. FF3 and IE7. I did try the clean cache and cookies. I'll test from home and see what I get. Quote Link to comment

I am thinking it may have to do with our network here. Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
I have seen similar issues with a company that used a data caching firewall with some odd settings. Might ask the IT guys what they have changed. Quote Link to comment
