+david5kfull
I don't know if others are having a huge issue with this, but there have been quite a few times where I have gone after caches, some quite difficult, in order to retrieve the TB or coin that is in the inventory. Recently, I have noticed an increase of caches that say they have a TB, but end up having nothing. What is happening here? Are people just failing to log these items when they move them? Is there a problem with the online system? What can we do about it? As far as logging, should TB or coin owners do a better job at explicitly explaining what needs to happen if you pick up their item? I have noticed that some people tend to do a great job with this while others provide no instruction at all. Does this frustrate others? Quote Link to comment
+Castle Mischief
Take a gander in the forums for Travel Bugs and you'll see that this issue does come up pretty often. Some people could care less, but I often seek out caches specifically because of the trackables and it does get annoying. Sometimes it's just a matter of vacationing cachers that don't have access to the website and other times it's a matter of muggles, maggots, and thieves. There's really not much to be done about it from a seeker's point of view. Quote Link to comment
+SerenityFound
It's happened to me quite frequently in the past month here in Pennsylvania. I have both found trackables where none were listed and not found what should have been there - the later being much more predominate. Drives me crazy... Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
Try to mention any missing bugs in you cache log. This helps determine if the bug should be marked as missing. Edited May 19, 2009 by BlueDeuce Quote Link to comment
