+maddiemoof
Hi, I'm looking to buy a GPS unit for my husband for his birthday. It needs to be Mac compatible and I'd really like it to be something that he can use for a long time. Something that ranges from novice to advanced user, maps, color if possible (nice to have). We are currently using the iPhone, which is great for urban caching but doesn't work as well in the mountains when the cell signal disappears. So you Mac users let me know what you are using pros and cons. Thanks!! MaddieMoof Quote Link to comment

+TeamAldridge
I'm using an Oregon 300. Actually as of today the Oregon 400t is only $350 after the $50 rebate at REI. It will be on sale until May 10th. Of course I was about a week to late to get that deal, and I paid that for my 300. Quote Link to comment
