+geometro253 Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 (edited) Why are there MANY "traditional" caches in the Olympic National Park in Washington when all the caches inside of Mt. Rainer National Park are earth or virtual caches? Please explain. Aren't actual caches inside Federal land prohibitted? Further explanation is very appreciated. There are no physical caches in the ONP that I am aware of, there are many in the Olympic National Forest that surround the park. Quote
+TerryDad2 Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 I don't think this is really an EarthCache related question as it is about where traditionals can be placed. This thread should be moved over to a different section. My understanding is that physical caches are not allowed in areas managed by the National Park Service. There are other agencies that also restrict placement of physical caches. Quote
