I tried using my pocket query and got easy GPS last night. and then highlighted all of the caches.....and sent to GPS. Now my GPS just says Loading maps. UH OH. HOw do I get it to dump the info if I can't even get it to turn on?????? Quote Link to comment

HOw do I get it to dump the info if I can't even get it to turn on?????? Attach the USB cable. You may need to powercycle it a couple of times but it should be able to go into mass storage mode. Delete everything in x:\garmin\gpx\ (or move it to your computer if you have waypoints that you don't want to lose. That should hopefully do the trick. If not, then a HW reset should work. Never needed it on my Nüvi though and I've hade the same issue several times. Usually making "Safe removal" before pulling the USB cable helps to avoid this in the future. Quote Link to comment

I DID THE RESTART SEVERAL TIMES IN A ROW AND RECEIVED THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE "No detailed maps found that support routing. The Nuvi cannot be used without them." AND IT DOESN'T DO ANYTHING. i CANNOT GET IT PAST THE LOADING MAPS SCREEN..... Quote Link to comment
