+g-o-cashers Posted April 1, 2009 Share Posted April 1, 2009 2.58 is the latest released GPS firmware (which comes with Oregon software version 2.8). There are a number of beta releases floating around now: 2.85, 2.86, 2.93, and 2.94. 2.85 is a stable release to work from even though it is a beta, I would recommend updating to this because it fixes some nasty problems in 2.8. Stay clear of 2.86 and if you want the latest greatest go to 2.94 isn't bad, although you might want to peruse the 2.94 firmware thread here or over on the Oregon wiki before upgrading.
