sawblade5
I have figured out neat ways to build more concentrated PQs to an exact area with out areas I don't plan caching in using Find Caches Along Route. (I have a set area shape instead of the regular old Location Circle, and this way eliminates the need to recenter my dates for multiple queries) The problem is I use the dates for those Queries. With the regular PQs I can scroll back to the year 1994 but the problem is; You can only go back to 1999 with the Find Caches Along Route. I am thinking this was simply left out by accident, when they implemented the feature for the regular PQs. There isn't really any work arounds for this . The scroll back to 1994 on the regular PQs was due to certain caches (I think Some Virtuals and maybe some Letterbox Hybirds which Letterboxing has been around before 2000) being dated back that far even though the sport has only been around since 2000. +StarBrand
If I am reading your post correctly - you are looking for some consistency between the route PQs and regular PQs when it comes to date selections. If so - I agree. Link to comment
Lil Devil
I'm confused. I just checked Kansas and Missouri and Mingo is still the oldest listed cache. What are you afraid you're going to miss? Yeah, consistency is a good thing. Link to comment
sawblade5
Yes consistency is what I am going for in between the 2 styles of queries. Yes Kansas and Missouri are where I do most of my caching at but I have been to other states and the potential for spotting the caches that was placed before 1999 is there. Link to comment
pppingme
No caches were placed before 2000. The bug here isn't the PQ forms, its the fact that the site is allowing bogus hidden dates to be set. Link to comment

sawblade5
Here's the thread on the subject http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=211012 . I am see mentions of Caches dating back to 1910 in that thread. I would vouch for a Before 2000 Selection Or Have it Consider all placement dates before 2000 as 2000 in the PQ search. Link to comment
