There will be the Amazing Travel Bug Race 2009 hosted by pgcachers.ca Amazing TB Race 2009 We're willing to be a launching point for anyone from outside of BC who would like to enter a trackable item in this race. We have a cache 'GC1M1DG' that your trackable can start in and then we'll send it off on it's way. The focus of this race is "photos of the journey as well as caches visited" so we'll start it off with a photo here before setting it loose! The coordinator of this race told me that it doesn't have to be a TB specifically, it could be a trackable coin, 'trackable item' or TAG. With regard to 'trackable items'... we were given a wooden Signal the Frog that is a 'trackable item' and we also have things like the 'Trackable Hiking Stick Medallion'. There are GeoGems too that are trackable items. The sky is the limit it seems. Did I mention we're one of the official sponsors It's a great event to support and also participate in!
