TheOxbowGang
I need some help in posting my first multi cache. It's a 4 stage. I have the puzzle all worked out but when I tried to post it, I ran into a snafu regarding waypoints for each stage of the multi. Can anyone walk me through this? Quote Link to comment
jeffbouldin
Not sure what your particular SNAFU is, but the most common is that you must post all the coordinates on the page. Open your cache page and just above the logs you will see a link to add new coordinates. Add the waypoints and when you do choose the option to hide the waypoint from all but the owner or administrator. The reviewer can make sure they are not too close to any other cache but the seekers will not see them. Quote Link to comment
JohnE5
Just post the first coordinate on the cache page. When you hit submit it will stop you and tell you that this one is a multi but you haven't selected additional waypoints. Hit add way points and your set. Quote Link to comment
palmetto
As others have said, you need to add the stage and final coordinates to the cache page as hidden waypoints. The reviewer cannot review or publish your cache without that information. Here's the Knowledgebase Article on how to do that. Quote Link to comment
briansnat
One thing to remember when adding waypoints of each stage is to label them correctly. If the stage is a virtual one, for instance a sign that people need to get information off of, then make sure the waypoint is listed as a "question to answer". If there is a container at the corrdinates containing a clue to the next stage then it should be listed as "stage of a multi cache". Quote Link to comment
