+tracyjohnson34
I returned my Colorado 300 as it locked up constantly and to get it to work again I had to remove and replace the batteries. They did not have 300 in stock so instead I upgraded (I think) to the Colorado 400T. My question is will this model perform the same tasks as the 300? The 300 was great when it was not locking up. +RonFisk
I've been pretty happy with my latest 400t. I have found that it does lock up when the batteries get low. I just change the batteries and it's fine until the next set get low. It never locks up on external power. Just be sure to carry lots of fully charged batteries and you should be OK. That applies to the Oregon as well. Quote Link to comment
+JPatton
The 400t has the same features as the 300 plus the built in Topo maps. Make sure you upgrade to the latest firmware using the webupdater. The early versions of the firmware had some serious bugs. You can download the webupdater here. Quote Link to comment
