CharlieZulu
Hi folks: When projecting a WP, the field where you enter a value for Distance in my 60C is in km, and only gives two significant digits anyway -- is there a way to change this to meters? I can't find anywhere in the menu system to change this. Quote Link to comment

Not sure about the 60C, but on my Magellan GPS units, plus my Colorado - if I enter in 0.1 km it automatically flips over to metres (and then lets me enter in a smaller number) Quote Link to comment
danoshimano
I have the 60Cx, pretty sure you can't change this. You are restricted to 10m accuracy (0.01). Edited March 4, 2009 by danoshimano Quote Link to comment

You can actually go down to 0.01 m by pressing on the right arrow to move the highlight to km, clicking Enter to get the pop-up menu, then click m. Quote Link to comment

When you bring up the screen for projecting the waypoint move the cursor over to hilite the 'km' and press enter. This will bring up a list of "mi, ft, yd, km, m and nm" to choose from.
