We have a Garmin Etrex HC whiich worked great until last week end we tried to downloade some caches and kept getting an error that the gps device could not be found. Re downloaded and installed your software and same error code so we had to manualled load all the site info.

Any help?

Thanks in advance

Redownloaded software is not clear. Did you reinsall your device driver? If so, try deleting the driver and then reinstalling it. If you have not reinstalled the device driver, try that.

Yes, when the site stated it could not locate the device it suggested reinstalling the device drivers which I did.

Thanks for the reply

If you are trying to use the "Send to GPS" button from Geocaching.com, it is a Premium Member only feature.

This topic has been covered in other forums, after the new upgrades to geocaching.com, the send to GPS function doesn't work with IE6. Looks like you might have to upgrade to IE7.

Here's what OpinioNate said in the thread linked below.

Two things happening here.

1. Send to GPS is a Premium Member feature. It was never meant to be available to Basic Members but that was overlooked and supposed to have been restricted in the last release. Somehow the change was reversed but is scheduled to be fixed [again].

2. Send to GPS is not currently working in IE6. This is also scheduled to be fixed.
