ajkiwi88 Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 (edited) ok i have been using my etrex h gps for a while with british os coords now i want to use northings and westings and cannot find the answer sorry i worded this a bit wrong what i meant is i can put in an os grid reference but i cannot put in there is a few formats to use so i dont know which one to allow for N 53° 34.465 W 002° 26.127 to be entered many thanks andy Edited January 21, 2009 by ajkiwi88 Quote
gallet Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 (edited) The co ords you have written down are not northings and westings but rather Lat/Long. the position format you want is hdddºmm.mmm set the Map Datum to WGS 84 This is done in the Main Menu > Setup > Units Edited January 21, 2009 by gallet Quote
