Hiya people this is my first post so be gentle with me ;)

I have just upgraded my gps unit to the Garmin E-Trex Venture H-C and was looking forward to not having to hand put in coordinates. I found all the waypoints within a 40 mile radius of my home and then found I can only download 10 at a time as the page only holds 10 at a time. I cant seem to find anyway of downloading more or displaying more than a page at a time, can anyone help?

Thanks for any assistance you can offer, am itching to go ha ha ha.

Thanks

Pocket Queries are the way to go. They allow you to download up to 500 caches in one file. You need to be a premium member for this feature, and it seems like you already are one. If you go on your account page, down the right hand side is a link for 'build pocket queries'.

You pick all the criteria for your search, such as types of caches, centre-point and what radius. You also need to pick how often you want the query to run. You will then get a .zip file sent to you by email, which you can load into your preferred waypoint management software to then transfer to your GPS. ;)

If you love geocaching so far, and plan to be doing it in the future, the $30 for a premium membership is money WELL spent, as being able to run pocket queries will save you a lot of time over loading individual cache info onto your GPSr. It will also make you more efficient when you look for caches, as you can have every last pea-pickin' cache within your search radius pre-loaded even if you have never visited the cache page on your computer. This works especially well if you have a GPSr which is geocaching-friendly and handles the cache page info as well as the coordinates, so you can read the cache page info "on the fly" as you start searching for each cache.

I'd definitely recommend a membership.

Guilty as charged?
