denningbetty
We just purchased a Garmin GPXmap 60CS and we've read the instruction but haven't figured out how to send the hints along with the cords to the GPS.....or if it can even be done. I would appreciate it so much if anyone has any information to help me....wheather it's "It can't be done" or "This is how you do it". Quote Link to comment
+intolerable
If you use GSAK, you can use tags to create custom descriptions when sending waypoints to the GPS and you can send the hint that way. Quote Link to comment
+PDOP's
We just purchased a Garmin GPXmap 60CS ... GSAK can put hints into the comments but the 60CS is limited to 30 characters in the waypoints comments/description. If you have a 60CSx which supports POIs (Points Of Interest) it is possible to store more information in a POI. Quote Link to comment
+fratermus
IMO the easiest way to do this is with freeware EasyGPS. Edit > Preferences > Geocaching > Comment > Geocaching Hint (Decrypted). This will make the hint visible when you look at the geocache comment in the GPSr. Quote Link to comment

Yeah, it is limited but we just purchased it so we will have to use it for a while :-(...Thanks again. Quote Link to comment
