Kopfschuss Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Hey All, I'm sure its been brought up before, but whats the best screen protection for your gps? I have a colorado, and I installed a ZAGG invisible shield the other day. I am VERY dissappointed in their product; lowsy visibility, terrible installation, permanent bubbles, etc. What are my alternatives? Thanks. Quote

You are using what is considered by most to be the best there is. Carefully remove it and reapply, it may have some visible lines from the removal process but after a few days, after it has been reapplied these line will go away. There are several old post on Invisible Shield, more than a year ago, on how to get the best results in the application. Quote

I've used at least 10 of them over the years and have been very happy. Be sure to follow the instructions and you won't get bubbles. Make sure it's real wet when you apply it so it slides around easily. The shield is designed to be about 1mm undersized so that the bubbles will squeegee out. The small bubbles will disappear after a couple of days. Quote
