Streets and Trips to Garmin MapSource?

S&T recalculates the route each time the program is opened and usually only stores the start and end points. The exception to this is when you add intermediate points as described here (link)

You can convert from .est files using ST2GPX. It o is a companion project to GPSBabel that imports/extracts data to/from Streets & Trips/AutoRoute/Mappoint in GPX format.

Yes, that's what launched when I asked GPSBabel to read a .est file. It failed on my S&T2008 files. It appears to only work for files up to S&T2007.

EDIT: Oops, I just checked the ST2GPX website linked above and it looks like it might only handle up to S&T2004 formats. I'm not sure when the first significant format changes occured after 2004. It definitely won't handle S&T2008 or Mappoint2009 formats.

Basically when the site seems slow, don't press the [submit] button over and over again and again. Have some patience. Open another IE window and you will most likely see that your post has gotten through even though your original window may never finish. I actually copy my posts into the clipboard for the unlikely chance that it really burps, a very rare occurrance.

The only reason I pressed it again was because it timed out after 45 seconds and told me to try again...4 times, thanks for the advice.
