PugPrince
When I bought my Garmin 60Cx I seem to remember reading in one of the forums that it can be used for turn by turn with voice commands if interfaced with a laptop computer. I just recently added the City Navigator software to my 60Cx and have been using the turn by turn navigation. Can someone explain to me how to set it up to use the laptop to add the voice command features assuming it can be done. Quote Link to comment
+PDOP's
Download nRoute (link) from Garmin. It's free and will work with your existing maps on your laptop. Quote Link to comment
beauxp
You need to download nroute from Garmin. Here is the link to the page where you can find the program. http://www8.garmin.com/support/mappingsw.jsp It will need to have the city navigator installed on your laptop. When you install nroute it will see the city navigator and any other garmin map programs you have. you can then connect your gps to you lap top and have navigation with voice promps. You can also use just your handeld for navigation on streets, just no voice prompts Quote Link to comment

PugPrince
I've downloaded nroute and it's working well! It doesn't see all my waypoints that I have on the GPS. Is there something I need to do to transfer these to nroute? Thanks for all the help. you guys are great! Quote Link to comment
+splashy
I never realy used this program, but I think you have to transfer the waypoints from gps to nroute using the transfer to computer in Mapsource first. Quote Link to comment
