+DHDaniel Posted November 29, 2008 Share Posted November 29, 2008 (edited) Here is my problem. can't get my New Oregon 300 to work on laptop, Installed the Garmin Communicator ok, but It won't let me install the Garmin USB drivers This laptop is Running Window XP Pro and I am not set up as the adminstrator, thus cannot install drivers, Aside from Doing a re-install of Windows, Any body know of a work around to get them installed? thanks Dave Edited November 29, 2008 by DHDaniel Quote Link to comment

If you've forgotten your own admin password, there are ways to reset it, usually requiring booting from a Linux CD or an Ultimate Boot CD for Windows (UBCD4win.com).
