Unactivated Geocoin

We have today found an unactivated Geocoing in a cache we visited, the problem is we went to activate it and discovered that the activation code is missing from it i obviously have the tracking number but no activation code.

Is there a way around this or would anyone know what or how to find out what the activation code is?

If you describe the coin to us or even better post a picture, it would make it much easier for us to help you with this.

You need to find out who made the coin, and then that usually leads you to where you find the activation code. You can google the coin name, and see what pops up. I have recently been buying a lot of coins off Ebay, and most of them I have to "search" for the code.

Also, check O vs 0, I vs 1, S vs 5, B vs 8, etc... sometimes numbers and letters look alike on the tracking codes, and try again. It will always be a 0, not an O.

in the last four positions, I believe this to be the case

 

however, the letter "O" does appear in the first two positions

 

I have seen coins with tracking codes that start with "AO", "BO", "CO", "MO", "OB", "OC", "OH", "OK", "ON" and "OS"
