+OtterFan
I'll be spending one full day in the Twin Cities metro area next week with the family. We'd like to spend the day geocaching. Does anyone have any advice for a good region/city to focus? We'd prefer to do some nice hiking/scenic/interesting caches, and are not really focused on finding as many caches as quickly as possible. Quality, not quantity. We spent a day caching in Stillwater about 3 years ago and found some enjoyable ones. I haven't looked to see if many new ones have been added... Anyway, if anyone has any advice they'd like to throw our way, I'd appreciate it! cache_shoes Quote Link to comment
+The Moop Along
I'll give you an outsiders point of view I spent one day in Twin Cities last year on business. That determined my caching location. However, the views of the Mississippi River from way above and down on it were well worth my effort. I cached near the Ford Motor Company Twin Cities Assembly Plant. TMA Quote Link to comment
+webscouter.
The trail along the river that has the Cache across America in it is really nice. Quote Link to comment
+Wolfpack_13
Spring Lake Park: Scharr's Bluff has about 10-12 caches of varying difficulties, wonderful view's on top of a bluff overlooking the Mississippi, beautiful hiking trails. it's my go to spot when I want a quick get away. +Red_Devil35
There is a very creative hider in Roseville, Minnesota, by the name of Posen. His hides are very well done, and clustered together as well. Quote Link to comment
