+fyrhydrant Posted September 20, 2008 Share Posted September 20, 2008 I have tried to set the mileage on my notifications to 100 miles but after I save the notification it defaults back to 50 miles. Also when I do a cache search for event caches it defaults to 50 miles as well. Is this a setting that geocaching.com has imposed?? 50 miles seems a little to close to home and 100 miles would be more beneficial especially for those who live in rural areas and want to stay abreast of happenings a few miles from home.
