OREGON - Track Manager - show on map

I want to see 3 different tracks (blue, red, black) on the map at the same time.

First make sure you have Software version 2.2

 

Assuming you have three tracks already loaded do the following to each one

 

- Main Menu>Track Manager

- Select a track

- Select "Show on Map"

- Select "Set Color" and select the color you want to use

- Repeat

i have FW 2.2

and i did exact these things:

 

set color

set show on track

for all 3 tracks

 

back to map-screen, i do not see these tracks (each in a different color)

could you give me a screenshot from the map where i can see 3 tracks in different color at the same time?

This procedure works on mine, but I'm not able to get a screenshot at the moment.

Make sure you turn off the tracklog when you are done because it shadows the saved segments that you've changed color. This is listed as an issue in the Issues List.

i did SETUP-TRACKS-TRACK LOG-DO NOT RECORD (was it the wrong setup?)

but it is still not visible

How to turn off the tracklog ?

Does the Oregon have the "show on map" option like the CSx? Perhaps that is what you are missing?

i did:

setup>tracks>track log>Record,Do Not Show

 

Track-Manager-track1>Show On Map (if i select Track-Manager-track1>View Map, i can see the track in the selected color)

Track-Manager-track2>Show On Map (if i select Track-Manager-track2>View Map, i can see the track in the selected color)

Track-Manager-track3>Show On Map (if i select Track-Manager-track3>View Map, i can see the track in the selected color)

 

but if i open the MAP-Screen i see none of the selected tracks.

 

i already did a reinstall of FW 2.2, but it did not make any difference.

 

so i think, i have to wait for FW 2.3 or my unit is broken.

I do no more have any trick to see more than 1 tracks on the map at the same time.

any ideas?

IT WORKS!!!

 

It always showed Show On Map

 

but it has to show Hide on Map

 

i did it reverse - sorry (user fault)

 

now it works - thank you Wesbo, g-o-cashers

now i know, why i had those problems.

 

to hide or show the track on map you have to redraw the map - otherwise it won't work.

 

so you have to zoom in/out otherwise it will not be shown.
