+Mega Scooter Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 Can you guess what the designation of this disk is by looking at the stamping? Check your answer HERE Quote
2oldfarts (the rockhounders) Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 That is great! I did not get it right. Plus you get a star for another 'Golden Oldie' from the 1920s. Shirley~ Quote
foxtrot_xray Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 (edited) Darn. I had guessed: "RS1924 N YAMHILL D10 117 RIVER N FORK".. But then I realized that was too many letters, so I shortened it to: "RNYRNF". ..But was still wrong. Darnit. I'm bad at this. Edit: I think what REALLY CINCHES IT is that the datasheet HAS THE CORRECT STAMPING! : RD0847_STAMPING: RS 1924 NORTH YAMHILL RIVER 117 NORTH FORK D O Edited July 4, 2008 by foxtrot_xray Quote
+Mega Scooter Posted July 5, 2008 Author Posted July 5, 2008 “RNYRNF” So what’s with all the extra stampings? Are there a lot more like this out there? I can almost imagine them running out of room and adding another disk. Well ... almost. Quote
