Can I use my laptop screen hooked to my GPSMAP 60 CSx?

Hello,

I have a Navtech Maptech mapping program that let’s me connect my GPS unit to my laptop and navigate on the big laptop screen, I.E. like for a passenger in the car or on an airplane etc. Does anyone know if I can do it with my Mapsource? I have City nav, US Topo etc. too… I just would like to be able to link the GPS to the laptop and view the program on the laptop, like a Garmin 20 deal…?

You surely can. Sure beats looking at that small GPS screen all the time too.

You can no longer see your position on MapSource. That option was removed several updates ago. Download nRoute from Garmin for turn by turn spoken navigation. It is a free download.
