60CSx Stops tracking

I just bought a new 60csx. I am not sure of the firmware version but I think I updated everything as soon as I got it. anyways my problem is that it quits tracking and I have to power it off/on to get it to track again. Everything else seems normal. I have noticed this happening often when I will get out ofthe car and change the zoom to about 200ft my icon doesnt move.

 

I thought I read that this was an issue but I can't find any messages concerning this issue. Any help?

I have seen this happen on my unit also. It seems to happen when I am going to a destination in the car, I unplug from power and get out. Sometimes it will be in a mode where it is not tracking anymore. I have never seen it when running battery only or under any other condition.

Do you have Lock on Road turned on? Did you remember to switch to Off-Road routing?

Now that you say that, it is probably the case with me where I have been going "on road" and hadn't switched to "off road" when I go out. It makes sense now. Thanks.
