ADavid09
Hey guys. A purchase that I thought was a lock turned out not to be, so I am currently in the market for a handheld GPS. I am brand-new to geocaching...what do you veterans out there reccomend? I HAVE gone geocaching before, but as more of a "spectator". I would like to spend no more than $200 USD. What should I look for in a product, and what are some examples of good GPS's? Thanks for any and all suggestions! Quote Link to comment
+Miragee
For that price, I recommend the Legend HCx. You can purchase either the Topo or City Navigator maps at a later time. Visit the Garmin site and their "comparison page" to see what other new models are available that have the 'H' in the name. The 'H' stands for High Sensitivity. Quote Link to comment
geohunt.ca
I also second the vote for the Legend HCx. I have the basic eTrex H but everything I've read about the HCx has been great news. pm me if you still haven't bought one. Quote Link to comment
