+salz69
Some time ago I found and took a gold coin. The Front says Canada- it has a Canada map and www.geocaching.com, along with the search engine slogan. on the back it has a geocaching symbol, with a maple leaf in it and a four digit number for tracking. However it doesn't track- geocaching.com doesn't recognize it. Any ideas? Is there somewhere else I can track it? Lee Quote Link to comment
+Kabuthunk
I'm thinking it could just be like the collectable coins for the Manitoba Geocaching Association here. Sorta like what you describe, it's a coin, and has... well... in this case a 3 digit number. That's just the number in the series of coins. So in your case, if there was say... 5000 of the coins made, each one having a different series number, that number is just where it was in the manufacturing line. Quote Link to comment
+AtlantaGal
The orginal canada coin isn't trackable on geocaching.com. I forget the url of the site where you track it though. Quote Link to comment

+forthferalz
yes - we found a brand new one - our first and it was so shiny! but being brass it will probably be wanting a good polish by now unless it is in an airtite. You can find all the trackable on other site coins listed on www.trackablecoins.com under "iconless" Quote Link to comment
