Finding Caches

Recommended Posts

Since you're not a Premium Member the best way is to use the GoogleMaps.

Here's the link that you can use to search an area.

Edit to add:

I can't remember if you need to be a Premium Member to use the KML for GoogleEarth or not. See if you have a link on the right side of your "MY ACCOUNT" page under "Google MappingFeatures"

Just wondering if there is a way to find the info for just caches around..say.. Lake Fayetteville. Any suggestions.

A few choices here. Geocaching.com allows you to search by zipcode or city, state. I put in zip of 72701 & came up with 1149 caches. You'll have to figure out how to narrow the search from there.

Do you have a Garmin? I went to mygarmin.com / my extras / go geocaching / get started / That gives you a map where you can put in city, zip code & drag map around to find the area you want. You can then choose to download just the geocaches you want to your GPS. Good luck.

Give us more details if you need more help. :D
