bubnme
Recently, I experienced a problem with my unit. When I turned the unit on after it was in the car overnight, the unit unexpectantly turned off when I hit the backlight. The weatherhas been pretty cool at night and this is not the washed out screen problem that was fixed with the last patch. My battery levels showed half full so I don't believe that this is a battery power issue. Once the unit is warmed up after a few minutes the problem goes away. It just happens from a cold start up after the unit has been off for a while. Anybody experience this problem or know of a fix? Quote Link to comment
+Chuy!
I believe I had read this type of problem on another thread. Download the latest firmware and hope it takes care of the problem. If not, contact support. Quote Link to comment
PalouseShawn
The version 2.60 indicates that this problem is supposed to be resolved but there seems to be another issue that is introduced but I am waiting to hear back from Tech Support to see if this additional problem is real or not. ehuber
Hello, I faced the same issue. The trick, wait a few secondes before hitting the backlight. That's it. etienne Quote Link to comment

bubnme
It is definately the cold weather from having the unit in the car overnight. I powered up the unit this afternoon and it worked fine with the warm weather. Quote Link to comment
