XDA Orbit runs only with a 2. GPS program

Hello,

 

I have tested Wherigo on my XDA Orbit (like HTC Artemis) and I found Wherigo works only if I start a 2. GPS program. Therefor I use Koofind.

 

But in this kind the Wherigo works very slowly. Sometimes I must wait more than 1 minute for a new messagebox

 

Other programs (like MagicMaps or TOMTOM) works well on my Orbit and this program's have more to do as Wherigo who must "only check some coordinates" and display a messagebox.

 

Is there a way to make Wherigo works without a 2. GPS program?

What can I do to speed up Wherigo?
