kg4gaf Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 How can i keep from having to select all files on one page at a time to move to GPS. I have to create many files and then load them with easyGPS to load to GPS. Can i not select multiple pages at a time and make one file to do that? Quote
+sbell111 Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 Like most questions, the answer to your's is 'pocket queries' (and a premium membership). Quote
+StarBrand Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 Pocket Queries are your friend. http://www.markwell.us/pq.htm and $3 a month to be a premium member. Quote
+Arndtwe Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 Pocket Queries are your friend. http://www.markwell.us/pq.htm and $3 a month to be a premium member. Cheaper yet, $30 a year. You save $6 bucks that way Quote
+J-Way Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 If you absolutely don't want to shell out the $3 (or $30 for a year), then you can bookmark all the caches you're interested in and download the group as a .loc file. But you lose lots of info that way. Quote
+Arndtwe Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 FYI the difference between .LOC (the kind of file basic members get) and .GPX (the kind premium members get) is that .LOC just gives you coordinates, name and GC (maybe a hint?). .GPX on the other hand gives you coordinates, name, GC, size, difficulty, short and long description, hint, previous logs and what trackables are in the cache. This info of course is not useful unless you go paperless caching, or have a nicer unit that holds that kind of info. The point is, you get a whole lot more bang for your buck. And if you do decide to go paperless (which is a very good idea) then this will help immensely. Quote
