Hiding Caches in KS

Hey,

 

I'm new to Kansas and I want to put out some caches here. I'm also pretty new to putting out caches. I was wondering if anyone is familar with regulations in State Parks for putting out caches. The woman I talked to at the Clinton State Park office had no idea what I was talking about. But I know there are caches hidden there, so I was wondering how to go about getting permission. I'd also like to hide caches in other state parks. I want to hide caches in lots of places in the area, but in Lawrence, you have to fill out a form to put a cache in any park and it goes through an approval process- rather tedious. I'd love ideas.
