Barrikady
Garmin has a booth at MacWorld Expo 2008 in San Francisco. I spoke with a Garmin engineer who works in the cartography department about the availability of Garmin maps for Mac OSX that DO NOT have to first be converted on a Windows machine prior to being used on a Mac. He told me that Garmin has had City Navigator NA 2008 NT for Macintosh ready to go for a while except for having the unlocking mechanism bullet-proof. Now that hurdle has been resolved and the final product is complete and has been released to manufacturing. In his exact words he said "It will be available in one month." Well, I'm not going to bet any money on his statement coming to fruition... but I think it is very likely that within the next 60 days or so, we will be able to purchase City Navigator NA 2008 NT for Macintosh. Time will tell. Edited January 17, 2008 by Barrikady Quote Link to comment
dennyhenderson
That's good news. I hope they will sell it without an unlock code, since I already have an unlock code for my GPS for the regular version. Quote Link to comment
