+The Spindoctors Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 You can try the open source maps ShonkyMaps or Openstreet Map. Here are some links: http://forum.geocaching.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=8073 http://forum.geocaching.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=8990 Quote

NofishNT Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 j2garnett, I have a 76CSX and would recommend City Navigator for about $230 from GPSOZ for all metro areas, for rural I would suggest Shonky Maps (Free) or Tracks for Australia pro (I think it is about $50) as far as I know they are identical in detail but Shonky is about 350mb alot larger than tracks for australia and Shonky only gives you the detail when zoomed in close. If you plan to go on the water, Blue Chart (again about $230). OzTOPO is quite expensive and gives you not much more than shonky or Tracks4Aust. City Navigator and Shonky will serve just about every need you will have. Quote
