foxfrog40
We retrieved TBKY1P from Tiger Temple GCN5YA and placed it a few days later in Siam Square GC16Q90. The TB is not longer in our inventory, but neither logged in Siam Square. The last log in tracking history is that we retrieved it from Tiger Temple. What should we do? Thanks for your help foxfrog40 Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
Looks like the Retrieve failed, it happens from time to time. Just do another retrieve then you'll have it in your inventory. Quote Link to comment

+BlueDeuce
Are you using the tracking number printed on the tag? Quote Link to comment
foxfrog40
No, i don't know, because i already placed the TB in Bangkok. I'm using the tracking number TBKY1P which is specified together with the name of the TB in the tracking history. Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
Okay, the TBKY1P is a reference number that does not allow you to log the bug. If people knew the tracking number without having found the bug they could do bad things to the bug. Like logging it virtually around the world. You'll need the tracking number so either you'll need to go back out to the cache site to get it, or ask the bug owner to tell you what it is. Quote Link to comment
foxfrog40
The TB is in asia and i am now in europe, so i have to ask the TB owner. Thank you very much for your help! foxfrog40 Quote Link to comment
+Eartha
Post a note to the TB page in the meantime, in case someone picks it up before you hear from the owner. Let people know where it is, and ask the next finder to contact you and give you the number so you can log it first. They can contact you through your profile page, no need to post your email address. Quote Link to comment

foxfrog40
The owner answered immediately so we could correct the drop. Thank you so much for your help! Quote Link to comment
+PhxChem
You might want to get into the habit of recording the tracking number when you find a bug. Although luckily, you had a very responsive owner. The TB is in asia and i am now in europe C'mon....don't be so lazy....... Quote Link to comment
