Pocket Queries- will it ever go beyond 500

I'm wondering WHY is it that Groundspeak does not allow More than 500 caches per PQ. I'm confident that the Servers have been updated over the years and could probably handle the work load.

 

As the Geocaches in each province increases, the need to have larger PQs increases proportionally. Shouldn’t Groundspeak augment the number of geocaches allowable in each PQ to reflect the past growth? This is a service offered to their customers and should be reviewed at least once a year.

In a nutshell the purpose of PQ's is not to create your own database but to give you enough caches to find in a couple of days. With 5 PQ's per day you have 2500 caches to find. When someone gets to the point that they can find more caches than that in a day then it will be time for Groundspeak to increase the number of caches allowed.

 

But of course that is just my take on it.

However I manage all my Waypoint through GSAK thus I am creating my own data base...
