rallymud
Is there any way one can go paperless without a PDA? I don't want to have to keep track of another gadget. I've got a KRZR K1M phone and a digital camera. I always have these with me on a cache. Both have 2 gig of memory and can view pictures and the phone has text capabiliity and mass storage mode. There has GOT to be some way to import information like hints and descriptons of caches onto one of these devices. Maybe by exporting to image file and having it in the camera or texting somehow to the phone? The best I can come up with at the moment is to record voice records to the phone while viewing caches online and referring to them later. Quote Link to comment
+zafwon
I use my blackberry 8700 address book to store cache information. Not sure how robust the address section of your phone is, but it may be an option. Good luck! Edited October 12, 2007 by zafwon Quote Link to comment

+zafwon
My waypoint manager (MacCaching) will export to my address book or an iPod. I select address book and then sync the blackberry. Same concept should work if your working with a PC. Quote Link to comment

rallymud
I managed to print a file from a web page to jpg, then transfer to my phone. The trick was nailing the file size. I have to pan a bit on the phone but IMO it's better than printing to paper and wasting ink. Once I get this fine tuned I'll post. Quote Link to comment

I'm always looking for ways to work around OS quarks. Quote Link to comment
