+Team Brewster
Does anyone know ... how long after being archived does a cache disapper from the listings altogether? I am curious because there are some caches we found years ago under a different username, and when I look where I know them to have been on the map, there is nothing there, not even archived caches. Just curious, thanks for the help! Quote Link to comment
+FamilyDNA
They never completely disappear. You can still see the description, logs, etc on an archived cache. To get to them the easiest way it through the profile of someone who hid or found it. Archived caches are not shown on the google map after they are archived. Premium members can (I think) still browse archived caches in the geocaching .com maps. Quote Link to comment
+gpsfun
Cache pages are not removed from the database. You could try going to your list of found caches in your old profile to see the cache pages you have previously found. Archived caches are not displayed on most maps. Quote Link to comment
+rdaines
Sometimes the physical cache has a hard time disappearing too. Quote Link to comment
