+GrateBear Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 Just logged onto the "hide and seek a cache", entered my zip code, and what should I see but ADS stuck in between the caches. Two per page, on every page. They weren't there 3 hours ago when I last looked. What's up with this? In the space of 10 seconds, I found them as annoying as the ads that every tv channel throws in the viewers face. I just can't believe we have to suffer this abomination. I'd rather pay more for annual dues than see these. Quote
+StarBrand Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 As a premium member, if you are logged in, they should disappear. They gotta pay the bills somehow...... Quote
+GrateBear Posted August 29, 2007 Author Posted August 29, 2007 Were you logged in? Ah, no, not logged in for caches, but logged in for the forums. How weird is that? Guess that explains it. And I don't understand how I get logged out. The pc has been on all day, no shut down or log out of the web site. That is certainly a relief! Thanks. Quote
Nimnifnof Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 another alternative.....Firefox and AdBlock. Best internet tool ever. I rarely see any ad anymore. Quote
