canadian equivilant to our OS paper maps?

is there an equivilant map for canada to the UK ordnance survey maps?

a 1:25,000 scale is what i use here, but as im moving to canada next month to near calgary and plan on hiking in the mountains nearby, id like some paper maps.

 

is there such a thing in canada? where do i find them?

yeh looks to have some good info, not quite up to OS standards but look ok,

thanks for that. any others available? funny that one of the few things i will miss about the UK is the good OS Maps.

I used a Canadian map while doing the Cabot Trail, purchased in the park office.

 

It was very good, but not as colourful, so harder to read

Have you considered asking the canadian forums what sort of paper maps they use? Obviously don't put the 'like our OS maps' bit because most of them won't have used OS maps.

already have, but thought id try here to as people may have travelled and would know our os maps.
