Seems to be a lot of moaning going on just lately so hears mine.

 

Did maintenance on a cache of mine the other day.......not only was it uncovered i.e. not put back in its hiding place (could have been muggled but I don't think so) but the lid wouldn't close because the BIGGEST TB in the world had been put in it

 

I know its common sense but can something be put in the guidelines about not putting items in a cache which stops the lid being closed...........Jeeeeeeeze

Actually, thinking about it, I wish it had of been a little more supple like the kitty........ I could have forced the lid down but the TB was solid!!!!

We've got a huge TB which we've had for ages cause we can't find a cache to leave it in which is big enough

But the kids wanted to take it

 

It wants to go to high places - I think the best it can hope for is to find another home.

 

So I can kinda understand why someone, who was probably sick of carrying about the TB squashed it into your cache!

This is the most stupid TB I’ve ever come across. It’s been in situ so long that it’s now on a TB rescue list. Solid metal, it weighs about 3 pounds and will only just (literally) fit into an ammo box – providing you take everything else out first. Including the air. It’s already been dropped through the bottom of a Tupperware box from a height of about three inches. And, and, it’s got a mission!!! Sheesh.

I saw a TB last weekend where the tag had been bent into a circle so it could fit into a canister only slightly bigger than a 35mm canister! Problem was of course the TB number was on the INSIDE!
