Jester1970
While on holiday in Dunbar recently I did some caches and noticed that the map continually showed I was out in the sea when I was some distance inland. Anyone had similar problems? Quote Link to comment

Anyone had similar problems? base maps are not totally accurate, I had this in Cornwall near the sea. Quote Link to comment
+dino-irl
Base maps are rubbish! You really need Metroguide or City Navigator for accurate mapping. Metroguide doesn't give routing unless you know how to doctor the upload but both are pretty expensive. The free SMC contour maps have a better representation of the coastline than the standard base map. Quote Link to comment
+Donmoore
Base maps are no use. i used to live in the sea until i put metroguide on my 60cx. like dino said you can't auto route with it either unless you go to a website where someone has made a little program for routing. Quote Link to comment
